In this edition of Celebrity Travel Addicts , we and Christina Vidal of Jetset Christina speak in the world of Traveling!
We chat with her about what sparked her passion for investigating the planet, her travel hints, a special item and much more. Take a look at her favorite destinations where she’s headed 13, and find out!
How did your passion for travel get started?
I am eternally grateful that I really encouraged me to find the planet and grew up. On Semester at Sea — a program with 500 college students, I studied abroad in college where we took courses and traveled across the globe to 12 unique nations in four weeks. It was incredible — and actually where I began my site! From that expertise on, I was hooked.
Just how many days/weeks are you traveling in any given calendar year? What are the kinds of places you like to visit?
100 percent of this time currently travel. That sort of go-go-go lifestyle isn’t sustainable I understand. But right now it’s too much fun. And I am really enjoying making all sorts of places around the planet”house” for a couple of weeks or more at a moment! I try both to view the places that I go to either a tourist, and a neighborhood. I believe by spending time at the places that I go, I have to understand them better and it helps make the material than the typical travel guide.
You were born and raised in California. What makes California such a wonderful travel destination?
I spend the most time of the year in Bali, when I am not traveling that I consider a house base, and that I return to California a little too.
You are among the most trusted names in the realm of luxury travel. For folks that don’t understand, what is luxury travel and what sort of work can you do?
California has it all!!! The snow, the beach, biking, hiking, golf, wine tasting, towns that are foodie, Highway One Big Sur, Yosemite, Napa Valley, oh my gosh I can go on FOREVER! California is the best place on the planet.
What do you want audiences to profit and learn from your job?
I believe luxury travel is all about experiencing the exact best in travel. Luxury travel is party travel. It is the honeymoons, the babymoons, the wedding excursions, the temptations, the intimate getaways. It is an excuse to celebrate. Luxury travel is the type of journey you work for. What I really do is create attaining that vacation more easy. My job will be to make organizing your excursions a breeze so you are able to trust that your hard-earned vacation is going to be well worth every cent.
I need everybody to be able to travel longer, and improved, and I enjoy helping them do this. I would like people to get the best trips every trip they choose with the recommendations of Jetset Christina, of the lives. Nothing makes me more happy than the DM I receive with images from followers’ excursions, telling me just how they went to a resort or even on a tour for me and just how much they loved it.

I love it! Here’s my Top 5 Bali Guide:
What’s your favorite restaurant on the planet? What dish do you recommend there?
That’s such a tricky question. EVERY travel memory is so meaningful to me. I would have to say staying in an overwater bungalow. I believe everybody dreams of that trip — and it’s every bit as incredible as it’s cracked up to be. My first time in one was a special trip — because it was. It was a place she had wished to go, but never really could find reason enough for such a trip-of-a-lifetime. But when”life” becomes a great deal shorter, journey becomes a whole lot more important. So when she got great news from the doctor, we booked this trip to French Polynesia, and had the best trip ever.

Charleston, South Carolina — that Southern Hospitality is not possible to beat.

We travel the exact exact manner — we adore good wine, great food, and amazing beaches. We can possibly spend all day in sunlight, and also all night chatting on cocktails. We have so much fun traveling.
What are 3 things you could never travel without?
I always have little jobs I plan beforehand on doing at the airport, like catching up on email replies, DM’s, etc.. So I never have any downtime on journey. On the airplane, I am usually writing sleeping and watching movies or blog posts, editing photos.
What’s your ultimate dream destination?
The Maldives — they feel like a whole other planet. And are easily.
What’s your favorite travel quote?
My best advice is if you’re going to be traveling a great deal, whether it’s for work or for pleasure, (or for both!) , it’s so important to still have a feeling of’home’ even if you’re on the road. It’s easy to get tired when you’re living from a suitcase, so I will try to plan for longer excursions in a number of the places that I love, so that I will really take a breath and catch up on my job, routine, and life. Occasionally”work-cations” are equally as important as holidays!
Where are you headed?
My camera, my Butt and Also My reusable straw (this is Actually the one I use)
So many places are on my list. I am dying to perform Zanzibar & an African safari. I am also dying for to Argentina & wine tasting at Mendoza.
“You can always make more income. You will never be able to make more time.”
I Am off to Bordeaux, France with a French wine Manufacturer in partnership!
