The most visited destination at all of Montenegro, Budva’s history spans over two millennia.
You will hear languages being talked about the pebbled shores due to the city’s strong appeal of Budva. In fact, the beaches of the area are some of the most enviable in the Adriatic. The below is a collection of all Budva’s must observe shorelines.
Slovenska Plaza isn’t actually a plaza in any way, but Budva’s largest and hottest beach spanning about 5,000 ft. Inspired umbrellas scattered across the shore and by hills on either side, it’s excellent for kids and beach bums . Relax on Slovenska’s gentle, sandy shore, and buy a refreshing drink or a bite from a few of the beach vendors. Ramble the pavement that’s lined with restaurants, bars, and casual cafes of Slovenska Plaza if you need a rest in the heat. I suggest picking your lounge chair and umbrella until 11 a.m. to beat the crowds and gain the best people-watching vantage point.
Kamenovo Beach is for those travelers who need a rest out of, well, everyone. It’s easily accessed from the street that was local, but abandoned that its coastline wanders down. Plus it is gorgeous!
All of Montenegro’s beaches are beautiful, However, Mogren Beach stands out Just as a Gemstone amidst gems.
Mogren is actually comprised of two shores, Mogren I and II. They are joined. Inspired by bright cliffs and lush vegetation, the beach is littered with a lot of drink and snack joints, sunbathers, and umbrellas across the boardwalk. You’re able to spend a sunny day sipping iced java tanning around the sand, swimming at the pristine waters of Mogren, or bravely diving out of Shark’s Rock cliff.
Jaz Beach, using its own beaches and pebbly shore, gets a shout-out for its appeal to some conglomeration of special crowds. A portion of the beach is designated as nudist, and a campsite is for backpackers.
A five-minute’s drive south from Budva will direct you into the scenic town of Sveti Stefan, a little city at the base of the Lovcen mountain range. Once a strategic trading port to the early Venetian Republic (15th century A.D.), both the red roofs, rock facades, and bronze detailing lend themselves to Sveti Stefan’s appeal and old world feel. It has been sought out for its unique charm and beauty for centuries. In fact comprise Sophia Loren and Marylin Monroe! Nowadays it stays a private resort city with pristine pebble beaches that line the path from the mainland into the village.
